Bendita Palavra Maldita

This poster-folder programme was made on two
days with my friend Felipe Kaizer.

¶ The commissioner (Poet Chacal) had nothing but low resolution images of the artists who featured the event.

¶ We cut a 66x96 cm paper sheet and illustrated every character using diverse techniques on it. The poster was handmade and finished at the computer. By that time, Felipe was designing his typeface “Inocência” and I asked him to use it on our project.

¶ It had no uppercase characters so we mixed it with Adobe Garamond’s ones and set the whole rest in Inocência. We cut the display type for the poster and background illustrations with scissors, scrambling words. 5000 copies at 2 Pantone Colors, offset printing.
